AI is a tool we use when it earns its place. We recommend AI only when it is appropriate to the use case, operating requirements, and expected value.

Four phases. Each ends in a deliverable and a decision.

Timing depends on scope, existing systems, integrations, and review requirements. We provide a delivery estimate after the initial assessment.

Phase 01

Define the problem

We review the users, workflow, data, constraints, and expected outcome before defining the initial scope.

Deliverable: A scoped plan, initial technical approach, and identified risks.

Decision: Proceed, revise the scope, or conduct further discovery.

Validate the approach

We test the assumptions that carry the most product or technical risk before expanding the build.

What is Techsity?

A software company that builds and runs its own products. Averil and LobeStack are live, Korvahr and Curripay are still in development, and the same team builds platforms for a small number of other companies.

You build with AI. Is the code safe?

We use AI-assisted development tools where they are useful, but code remains subject to engineering review and testing. Access control, data separation, dependencies, and database changes are reviewed according to the risks of the system.

How long does a project take?

Timing depends on the scope, existing systems, integrations, and review requirements. We use an initial assessment to define the delivery stages and provide a more reliable estimate before the main build begins.

We have been burned by an agency before. Why would this be different?

Our engagement model includes client access to the repository, direct technical involvement, documentation, and a planned handover. The scope of training and post-launch support is agreed before delivery.

How many clients do you take at once?

About three partner products a year. We limit concurrent client work so the proposed team can remain involved throughout the engagement. Current availability is confirmed during the initial conversation.

What does the first conversation cost?

There is no charge for the initial conversation. We use it to understand the problem, constraints, timing, and whether there is a reasonable fit. Any paid discovery or scoping work is proposed separately.

Who owns the code?

Client work is maintained in a repository the client can access. Source-code ownership, third-party components, and any licensing terms are documented in the engagement agreement.

Who is on the project?

An engineer participates in assessing the work and remains involved during delivery. We identify the proposed team and responsibilities during scoping and communicate any necessary staffing changes.

What happens after you hand over?

We complete the agreed documentation and knowledge transfer, then transition responsibility to your team. Ongoing maintenance or support can be included as a defined extension to the engagement.

How do you think about budget?

We provide an estimate after reviewing the scope, technical context, data, integrations, and delivery risks. If more discovery is required before a useful estimate is possible, we explain that work and its cost separately.
